Love this. Your photos are great - and you opened my mind up to a camera I’ve never heard of before - thanks for sharing.

I’ve felt this deeply, but not just with the Bessa R exclusively, I’ve experienced it with every camera I shoot. And those waves of bad rolls and redemption rolls really make the experience worth it all that more. Thank you for sharing!

it’s about the journey not the final destination! & the things you learn along the way 🤭

All this is personal experience, of course, but it doesn’t hurt for somebody else to point out or to reaffirm that the Voigtlander Bessa R4 - any series, is not a subpar camera compared to any Leica. In fact, it’s better than every Leica in just about every way imaginable. It is an equal camera at a minimum, and the lenses are superb and equal to leica lenses all day every day everywhere. Mr. Leica has literally proven this through rigorous testing numerous times. It’s not even a subjective opinion. It’s a pure objective fact as his work shows. The only thing that subjective is people liking their Leica cameras and lenses more for romance reasons, which is perfectly fine.

Oh nice you like the camera. I had a R3M for a while and was not really happy with the rangefinder. Need to write a post about it, I think.
